SurvivorNetTV's showing of
Victorious, a documentary created by award-winning filmmaker Robert Mac which introduces all of us to the exciting world of the D.C. Divas one of America’s strongest all-tackle football teams consisting of only women.
Starting from humble beginnings in the backyard of an apartment building, surrounded by zero lights and a concrete ground, the D.C. Divas have now become one of the most well-known names in the Women’s Football Alliance. The documentary combines both present-day footage of the team, historical footage of not only their beginnings, but also key events which inspired the increase of women playing football (such as the Women’s Equality March), and commentary from former and current team members who explain how the team has evolved since their creation in 2001.

The documentary follows the D.C. Divas through one season as they fight to make it to the National Championships. While managing their hectic football schedule, the film also shows raw and realistic accounts of the team as they juggle being mothers, wives, daughters, and also often full-time employees.
