Dr. Nina Shah is a hematologist who specializes in the treatment of multiple myeloma, a type of cancer affecting the blood marrow. She treats patients at the Hematology and Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinic. She is interested in helping patients fight multiple myeloma by boosting their immune systems.

Dr. Shah received her bachelor’s degree in cognitive neuroscience at Harvard University and her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Columbia University and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Shah is also an associate professor at UCSF.
