Dr Yasmin Lyons
UT Health San Antonio
Dr. Yasmin Lyons is an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at UT Health San Antonio. She specializes in the treatment of gynecologic cancers and complicated benign gynecologic conditions. Dr. Lyons has advanced surgical training in laparoscopy and robotics as well as radical pelvic and upper abdominal surgery. She completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and prior to that completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Lyons was awarded a National Library of Medicine grant and spent two years performing ovarian cancer research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center prior to fellowship. She looks forward to caring for women with gynecologic cancers in the South Texas area.
