Tracy Anderson, fitness trainer to celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Jennifer Anniston, is coping with yet another loss in her life. Sadly, Anderson’s first husband passed away in 2018 from a heart attack, and now she is mourning the death of her recent ex-husband Matthew Mogol who passed away after battling cancer.
Mogol passed away at the age of 48 after battling an unknown cancer. He and Anderson, 45, were married for two years between 2011 and 2013 and have an eight-year-old daughter named Penelope. Mogol documented his cancer journey through Instagram (his account has since been removed), and credited Penelope as being his biggest supporter through his battle.

The Importance Of Talking To Your Child About Cancer
Many cancer survivors have shared that talking to their children about cancer is a tough but crucial decision. While it was difficult to do, survivors also say that in the end, their children are often their biggest cheerleaders throughout treatment.
John Duberstein, who lost his wife Nina to cancer, tells SurvivorNet that Nina took a progressive approach in discussing her diagnosis with their children and tried to be as open as possible amid her treatment. Understandably, it was difficult for her children to fully grasp the disease she was facing, but Nina thought it was important that they prepare for what she was experiencing even though no child is usually prepared to lose a parent.
I think it's important to be open with the kids as much as you can, as much as you feel like they can handle. But it's also important to revisit it and not make assumptions…at the end of the night, what Nina had to tell them was, 'I'm not ever going to get better. My cancer is not ever going to go away,' it was hard for them to hear even though they'd already been prepared."
