An emotional moment on video, which has since gone viral, is capturing the hearts of millions around the world. The original TikTok video shows Neftali Martin, a young man with cancer, getting his hair completely shaved off, which is typically done during chemotherapy as hair loss is a common side effect of treatment. Suddenly, Joel Ortega, the barber, begins to cut off his own hair as an act of solidarity. “You are not alone,” says Ortega. Martin, who also happens to be a barber, breaks down crying. The two men work together at the Lords and Barbers barbershop in Alicante, Spain. “For those who do not know him (Ortega), he is not just a co-worker, for me a brother. I love you bro,” says Martin on his latest Instagram post about this touching moment that has over 9 million views on TikTok and nearly 24 million on Instagram. Like a lot of social media content that may go viral, the details of Martin’s cancer journey are not known.
