Melissa Berry leaned on her family to get through the darkest days of her cancer journey. She was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer when she was 42 years old. Now, five years out, Melissa says that her family and her friends were the light that kept her going during her treatment, but that she also found solace in sharing her experience on her blog, Cancer Fashionista.
“I decided to do this because I had a really hard time figuring out how to put lashes on when I had none, or how to tie a scarf and make it look kinda cool,” Melissa says. “So I ended up curating a list of products and services that were helpful to me and now, as a product of my journey, I’m able to help other women.”
