John Feal is spreading his message across the United States: if you were near Ground Zero on or after Sept. 11, 2001, take advantage of the World Trade Center Health Program and get screened.
John is the founder and president of the Feal Good Foundation – which helps people who were affected by 9/11 to get the healthcare that they need. “I look over my shoulder everyday wondering when do I get 9/11 cancer … I never wore a mask down there once,” John says.
John recommends that anyone who was down at the site after the attacks get enrolled in the health program. To apply to see if you qualify for a free assessment and healthcare, visit cdc.gov/WTC.
