In 2009, when Marlena Ortiz was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer, she had trouble finding and connecting with other young people going through a similar experience. Marlena says the organization is all about maintaining your sense of self and continuing to feel beautiful even after undergoing breast cancer treatment.
