Amazing news for The Wanted’s Tom Parker, 32, who is battling brain cancer: His tumor is shrinking! Parker shared the incredible news on Instagram, excitedly saying: “SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION. These are the words I received today and I can’t stop saying them over and over again I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumour and I am responding well to treatment. Everyday I’m keeping on the fight to shrink this bastard!”

Parker went on to thank the NHS (the National Health Service in England) for his treatment, and for their dedication and hard work in the middle of the pandemic. He also thanked his wife Kelsey Hardwick, 30, and called her “my rock.” Parker is a father of two, and wrote, “My babies- I fight for you every second of every day.” The young dad just welcomed a new baby in November 2020.

Parker revealed his brain cancer diagnosis with the world in October 2020, writing on Instagram: “Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why. There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.”
