They say laughter is the best medicine. “I’m getting good at finding humor in the struggle,” Stewart says. Her content is funny, uplifting and motivating. In one video she tells her followers, “You are stronger than you think!” A reminder to her TikTok community that no matter what life throws your way, you can overcome. Stewart, now 52, says early detection saved her life. After completing six weeks of radiation in August 2020, she is now cancer-free and on the road to recovery. Her spirits remain high because her cancer diagnosis has taught her that she “can do hard things.” Her TikTok followers helped her cope during the difficult times. “I connected with so many beautiful people,” she says. Stewart says she feels amazing right now. “Imagine we all felt really amazing because of the struggles we go through,” she says.
