Dr. Emese Zsiros

Dr. Emese Zsiros is an OB/GYN and gynecologic oncologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.  She is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of several professional societies, such as Society of Gynecologic Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

After residency, Dr. Zsiros completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania to start a career in treating gynecologic cancers. During her fellowship, she equally gained expertise in traditional open surgery as well as laparoscopic and robotic techniques, allowing her to provide a wide range of options to optimize oncological care and to minimize post-operative recovery time and complications. She currently leads the only laparoscopic official testing center for the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) in upstate New York. In addition, she provides a full range of chemotherapy options for gynecologic cancers and consultation for enrolling in novel clinical trials.

Dr. Zsiros joined the faculty of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2014 with the goal of providing state-of-the-art clinical care in a compassionate and patient centered clinical environment and to continue with cancer immunotherapy research.
