The last time we checked in with Tiffany Dyba, she was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. But she wasn’t letting that get in the way of her spirit. Tiffany created “hip hop chemo,” a way to make her treatment more enjoyable and to let her friends, family, and social media followers know that even though she had cancer, she was fine … and she could still get down to her favorite hip hop jams.
We checked back in with Tiffany to see how she’s doing now that she’s done with chemotherapy. “I’m in the middle of radiation right now,” Tiffany says. “Now that I’m nearing the end of this, I’m left feeling like my life will kind of become my own again in a way … and that’s really exciting.”

She and her husband are planning a trip to South Africa after she finishes treatment. Giving yourself something to look forward to after treatment, even if it’s something small can help pull you through the toughest times. Tiffany says that whenever things get hard, she just thinks about what’s waiting for her at the end of treatment.
