Teen Wigmaker, Made Popular By Cardi B & Blac Chyna, Is Helping Kids Who’ve Lost Hair During Cancer Treatment

Partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities, Lee is using his bold creativity to better the lives of young people and helping to elevate their confidence with new wigs. His phenomenal pieces will make a difference to these kids, and they have Cardi B to thank, too. The rapper’s patronage of Lee’s work has allowed him to have greater reach in helping others.

Lee told Essence magazine, "People ask me all the time about what it's like to work with celebrities and what keeps me up at night. My answer is always the same I have a gift, and I feel as though I have a responsibility to share it with the world."

In a recent Instagram post he talked about his admiration for artist Blac Chyna, saying “She's such a boss in every way and gives the best advice… I'm so thankful for her and her opening her arms to help me grow as a hairstylist.”

And Lee is sharing his gift in one of the most admirable ways. He’s putting his talent and skills to great use by giving back. His hair company, Luxe by Trenton, is helping children who have suffered hair loss due to medical reasons, like cancer, by working to raise funds to aid in the creation of wigs for them. These colorful pieces will hopefully not only put a smile on kids’ faces but will also help them to make their way in the world with greater confidence.

Lee has created a GoFundMe page, hoping to raise 50,000 to help pay for “custom wigs and the construction of a children’s salon at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City for sick children experiencing hair loss or damage.” Most kids Lee’s age wouldn’t already be thinking about ways to give back and we love him for wanting to help kids going through, what may be, the difficult part of their lives.
