On Instagram, Kilmer, 60, announced that he will be a part of a DC FanDome a virtual experience hosted by Warner Bros on August 22 to celebrate the beloved DC Comics franchise. The event will feature panel discussions and extremely familiar faces such as Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Dwanye Johnson, and more. Attendees will get a sneak peak of upcoming DC films and be privy to some inside scoop on what went on behind the scenes while making their favorite flicks.

Facing a cancer diagnosis can really put life into perspective for people. Some survivors have said that they switched career paths, started spending more time with their family, or made other life changes after completing treatment. For colon cancer survivor Jovannie Lorenzo she felt like overcoming cancer gave her a second chance at life.
“I do believe in being born again, and I feel that after having had my cancer, for me this was my second chance at life,” Jovannie says. “This was my rebirth, so to say. This was my opportunity to try and get this life done right.”
As a 32-year-old single mother to three young kids, she knew she needed to fight through treatment and appreciate every moment she had with her family. Since being in remission, she’s dedicated herself to making new memories with her children and live life to the fullest.
